Lineol model of Tank I
General
Guderian, a lobbyist for armoured vehicles once said, he was
very unhappy that still most of the volunteers wanted to join the cavalry,
while only a few young men were interested in tanks. But even the cavalry
itself had changed: the men were trained not to fight as galloping Uhlans
with lances and sabres anymore, but as dismounted infantry with modern
weapons. The horses were now used to move quickly from one battle zone
to another.
