Less than one year later he returned to Germany, where he propagated
a revenge war against the victors of Word War I. On 9th November
1923 he joined Adolf Hitler in the unsuccessful
coupé d'etat in Munich. However in the following trial he was found not guilty.
In the next years Ludendorff was a strong supporter
of the Nazis and became a member of the
German Parliament (Reichstag)
from 1924 to 1928.
In 1937he died with the Age of 72.
Figures
There exist two portrait figures made by Hausser and Lineol which represent
General Erich von Ludendorff. Both show him in the uniform of the imperial German army.
